The Enhancements Keep Coming! Here’s What’s New in Rievent Platform 9.3
On the heels of our version 9.2 release in February, Rievent just launched several new updates that streamline administration for continuing education providers and learners!
Rievent Platform version 9.3 is packed full of new features and functionality, including self-service data import enhancements that help you import credit, participation, and registration data. We’ve also added tight integration with WebEx; refreshed the appearance of our Administrator Portal; and expanded search filters for the CE Catalog and Events Calendar.
All of these updates make it easier for you and your learners to manage the continuing education experience. Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
Webinar WebEx Integration
While it was already possible to add WebEx webinars to the Rievent Platform, this enhancement makes it easier than ever. Now all you have to do is enter your WebEx Meeting Key – that’s it! The webinar will be available for learners within the Rievent Platform.
Self-Service Data Import Tool
In a recent article about importing legacy continuing education data, we discussed the various types of data imports that Rievent can handle – everything from credit history to full activity reproduction.
Thanks to an enhancement available in version 9.3, it’s easy to import credit, participation, and registration data all on your own! While activity data imports require custom migrations, this update makes it easy to get many types of learner data into the Rievent Platform right away.
“Site” Filter in the Learning Portal
This update is for your learners. We added an additional filtering option in the CE Catalog and Events Calendar that lets learners search for upcoming webinars, RSS sessions, and live events according to a specific site. Now learners can more easily identify and register for events at a site of their choosing.
Updated Admin Portal Pages
Even the simplest design tweaks can have a big impact on user experience. Updates to our Admin Login page, Summary tab, and Records Search Results pages improve readability and make it easier to find the data you need.
Additional Updates
Version 9.3 also includes the following enhancements and changes:
- RSS anonymous session attendance tracking: Monitor the number of RSS attendees according to credits claimed by learners. Calculate your “conversion rate” by comparing head counts against the number of learners who claim credit.
- New ACCME PARS fields: “Supplementary Financials” fields allow CME providers to enter figures for registration fees, government monetary grants, and private monetary donations received per ACCME PARS requirements.
- Updated reporting tools: A new interactive graph helps you drill down into data collected for the “Program Complete by Date” and “Program Fulfillment by Date” reports.
